Applications in detail
ARI® valves have been used in dairies and other milk processing plants for many years. For example, our industrial valves control the cold water loop for the cooling process of raw milk on delivery. ARI® also supplies appropriate valves for temperature control and steam traps for steam generation, which is required for pasteurisation.
Further examples of applications for our industrial valves are the heating and cooling loops in ultra-high temperature heating for longer shelf life milk and steam applications in the drying of milk powder.
In the industrial production of beverages, heat in the form of steam is required in several processes. As the production of sugar in sugar refineries takes place almost exclusively in the three to four months directly after the sugar beet harvest, many sugar producers rely on the high-quality and reliable industrial valves from ARI®. This is because the sugar production plants run non-stop during this phase and a failure or impaired performance would have a major impact on profitability. In the production of industrially baked or deep-fried foods, our customers often use heat transfer oil in a closed circuit for their processes. The advantage of this is that a high temperature can be achieved even at relatively low pressures. Compared to steam, there is also no need for complex condensate drainage and the continuous supply of water.
