Product recommendations from ARI® for shipbuilding
STOBU® gland seal globe valves for water-bearing systems and steam systems
STOBU® globe valves with gland seal from ARI® comply exactly with standard 86.251/2 and are ideal for shipbuilding. The valves are available in various pressure ratings and – depending on the version – can also be used for cold or warm seawater. The plug-stem connection ensures a high level of safety. On request, the STOBU® valves from ARI® can also be supplemented with additional tools such as limit switches or handwheels.
Maintenance-free soft-seated butterfly valves
With the maintenance-free soft-seated butterfly valves ZESA®/GESA®, running costs can be reduced in the operation of passenger or commercial ships. This is because reduced friction and thus pressure losses ensure optimised KVS values. This results in less noise, less vibration, less wear and extended maintenance intervals. For applications outside of water-bearing systems, we recommend our ZEDOX® high performance butterfly valves.
Space-saving control valves
Precise, durable and compact: The control valves STEVI® Vario series 448 from ARI® are ideal for shipbuilding, as they guarantee optimum handling thanks to their space-saving installation, 360° rotatable actuators and reduced weights. With ARI-PREMIO® Plus 2G, ARI valves also feature the latest generation of variable electric actuator technology. We recommend the DP actuators with explosion protection from ARI® for pneumatic applications.
Safety valves for flexible use
The ARI® safety valve programme covers all safety-related requirements in shipbuilding. A special feature is the innovative premium soft seal SHR – suitable for steam and hot water up to max. 220 °C.

CONA® All-in-one from ARI® is a compact DIN-length steam trap station that contains all the components of a standard trap station. Thanks to our patented condensate drain system, you save up to 80 % of the pipe connections.
